UNMUTED: Bad memories well told.

Project UNmuted is a series of artwork that articulates stories of women from across the world. 

​

These women were imprinted with memories of violence and experiences of abuse. Their stories will be told by artists of multiple disciplines that are inspired by the women’s first encounter with violence.

 

The purpose of this is to create a worldwide connection between women, making violence become an important issue for every woman. 

​

This, in no way, is artwork about bad memories, but beautiful and inspirational anecdotes of pain turned strength - giving a voice to a voiceless collective of women, to unmute the pain they overcame and the strength gained through bad memories well told.
